EASyViewer

EASyViewer is a client application that connects to and receives data from an EASyServer application. The EASyViewer displays protocol messages in real time or from a post processed EASyStore or EASyVault file. EASyViewer then separates the messages, stores them in a memory array, extracts specific data elements, and puts them in an in-memory database for further analysis.

Features	Benefits
Real-Time or Post-Processing	When connected to a server (e.g. EASyStore, EASyVault), data packets arrive in real time. The EASyViewer filters, decodes, and displays the messages. Post processing is done from a saved EASyStore or EASyVault file. The EASyViewer opens the file and reads in the data packets, allowing the user to filter, decode, and display the messages just like in real time mode.
Robust Filtering	When viewing protocol traffic on a network, the user can become lost in the number of messages scrolling off the screen. In order to control what the user sees, the EASyViewer implements a robust set of filters. Filters are applied to the data elements to determine which messages are displayed in the EASyViewer messages window. Users can also do a call trace where all messages for a specific call are displayed.
Multiple Decoding Levels	Three levels of decoding are available: Full, Partial, and Hex. Full decodes contain all of the packet information in an easy to read presentation. The Partial decode is used to focus in on protocol specific values. And the Hex decode is used to see the raw data.
Save Options	The EASyViewer can save the protocol messages into several formats. A decoded message can be saved to a text file or marked messages can be saved to an EASyStore file. These files can then be sent to others, giving the user a way to document their testing or network.
Advanced Search Capability	EASyViewer allows the user to use a straightforward and extremely fast search capability to track down the relevant information to make intelligent business decisions.
Easy to Learn	The intuitive design of the EASyViewer allows even inexperienced personnel who are new to network analysis equipment to quickly come up to speed and utilize all the features of the EASyViewer.
Variety of Protocols	The EASy family supports the following SS7 and IP based protocols: ANSI ISUP, AIN 0.1, All IS-41 Versions, GSM MAP Phase II and III, A-Interface (BSSAP, BSSAP+ and DTAP), Abis; E-911 (E2, E5 etc..), Sigtran, SMPP v3.3 and v3.4, SIP, IS-801 Note: Custom development is also available upon request.
