FAQ
Can multiple departments (e.g. finance and operations) have access
to the EASyServers and reports simultaneously?
Yes. In fact, we expect all departments
should have the opportunity to use the EASySolutions whether it is
for revenue assurance in finance to network optimization in
operations to business intelligence in marketing to testing in
development to customer care in support departments.
What reports are available?
We have a large variety of EASyReports
available from billing verification, revenue assurance and fraud for
finance departments to link and system usage for operations to call
record queries for support groups. What is important to note is
since we collect all the data off of the network, any report is
possible allowing every department to have their own personalized
reports. Additionally, with EASyQuery, reports can be custom built
by the user without having to learn sql saving you time and money.
That is how flexible we have architected our solution.
What protocols do you support?
We presently support:
ANSI ISUP, AIN
0.1, All IS-41 Versions, GSM MAP Phase II and III,
A-Interface (BSSAP, BSSAP+ and DTAP), Abis;
SMPP v3.3 and v3.4, SIP, SIGTRAN, E911
(e.g. E2, E3 etc..), IS801-1
We continually add new protocols based on customer
requests and marketplace demand.
How large can your systems grow?
Our systems start with single user
systems with two network access links and the system can be migrated
upwards of 100's of users and 1,000's of links. We can grow disk
space up to 8 terabytes of storage. So in effect, we are as flexible
as you need to be and as you expand you never lose your initial
investment.
What hardware platforms are available?
For mobile applications, we have a ruggedized
portable that meets advanced military specifications as well as a
Laptop Extender capability to turn any existing laptop with a
cardbus slot into a fully functional protocol analyzer. For
stationary applications we have rackmount systems based on dual Intel Xeon processors with Microsoft Windows 2003 Server operating systems.
The rackmount systems typically have at least 72 Gbytes of data
storage and have support for RAID1
data redundancy. We also have additional storage servers so you can
grow into Terabytes of storage as well as NEBS3 Compliant servers. You can view our platforms
page here.
What
architecture is your system designed on?
We have based our
architecture on a client server
basis and we use Microsoft
operating systems and applications. We use Windows 2003 Server as our
standard operating system and SQL for our database.
What network access
methods do you support?
We presently support T1, E1, J1, HSL,
V.35, RS232, RS449 and IP network interfaces. You can see some of the
variety of cables we use to insure success.
Are your
systems redundant?
Yes. Our rackmount systems
use RAID1 data redundancy configurations. In our numerous years of installing systems, we have yet
to lose a customer's data based on our implementation.
Can I demo
your EASySolutions before purchasing?
Yes. Simply
contact us to learn more. Not only that but you can rent a system for as
long as you wish to see the true power of our EASySolutions.
How long from order to implementation and what is the installation and
training process?
Typically, from purchase order to implementation is
30 days. We have been known to decrease this time to as little as 1
week depending on product availability.
The installation process is very
straightforward. Upon receipt of a purchase order, you will receive
an Implementation Checklist to fill out. We then will review that
implementation checklist and arrange an install date. The servers
will be shipped to your location. We will then arrive and install
the servers, cables and software applications. During our visit we
will also conduct onsite training for all of your staff that needs
it.
We also have remote virtual training
classes for down the road when new employees need to be trained or
new departments begin using the solutions. This is part of our
support contract services.
Can we order a system for one group such as operations and add users
in another group such as development or support?
Yes. Our systems and architecture are flexible where groups and
individuals within those groups can share the
EASyApplications to
lower over implementation costs.
